with you guys a little bit about what I
was up to yesterday I'm filming this a
little bit later because first of all I
ran out of memory on my camera and I had
to go and clear off a whole bunch of
stuff
and also I was trying to save things on
for my computer it was just a whole mess
but I wanted to go ahead and show you
guys some of the things that I got on my
grocery haul yesterday or my grocery
trip I am NOT gonna show you guys
everything cuz there are things that are
already like sealed and put away and I
don't obviously want to open those and
there are other things that are like put
back into the back freezer and it would
just be a whole hot mess to try and
bring it all in but I wanted to show you
guys what I could show you and give you
an idea of the things that I did buy and
what my idea is for this coming week for
my eating so to start out I am learning
that it is very important to drink as
much regular water as possible and I
have been I've been working on drinking
my one gallon of water a day I have
failed
most all days and when I say fail I
haven't made it to my whole gallon of
water I usually get about halfway and I
am just like done and I think that's
just because I'm not used to drinking
water again I would drink
I could easily down two liters of soda a
day if I wanted to and I could I could
put away soda let's just say that yeah
so because my taste buds were set for
soda to adjust straight to water was a
little bit of like a culture shock for
my mouth but I did
and I'm doing it but I figured why not
make a little bit of something different
bring something different into my liquid
intake so that I feel like I'm getting a
little bit of a change and I'm getting a
little bit of a treat but still getting
my water intake you could call it
unhealthy if you want to me I think it's
the most healthiest option if I'm not
wanting to drink regular water the whole
time I can slip one of these in and at
least I'm still like I said I'm still
getting water but it's a different
flavor than just plain water so what I'm
gonna do is I'm gonna show you
so at Costco it's a pack of 40 and I
want to say it was like $15 I could be
off but I think it was $15 and it's just
the Kirkland Signature vitamin with zero
water and it comes with three different
flavors it comes with tropical mango
mango dragon fruit and then lemonade
these are zero calories they have cmp 12
vitamins total fat zero sodium zero
carbs zero protein zero purified water
contains less than 2% of citric acid
absorbing acid so honestly I mean I'm
looking through everything I mean yes it
does have ingredients I mean of course
it does everything that has a flavor and
it's gonna have ingredients but I mean I
don't know if you guys that's probably
not gonna come and clear I'm sure it's
not but anyways you get the hint so its
contains zero fruit juice flavored with
other natural flavors vitamin enhanced
water beverage these are 20 full ounces
this was the tropical mango this is the
one I had yesterday and then what I have
been doing well since yesterday so you
know is I have one of these and then
once I'm done with it I fill it up with
water and I drink one of these down so
it almost is like I'm drinking 40 ounces
of water but once the flavor once the
regular water and then I just resume
back to my water from a gallon so that's
just an idea I mean if you have a hard
time drink
water that's just an option that I found
and I I mean I'm excited that I found
these because they have regular vitamin
waters at Walmart and stuff and I like
them don't get me wrong I do but these
ones have like a really good flavor like
they really do taste really good
so I'm excited to say that I found those
at Costco and it goes from drinking soda
to that so you know I'm I'm switching
things slowly I'm not ripping everything
out from underneath me the things that
I'm used to I'm not doing that because
again like I've said a million times
this is a life change this isn't just a
temporary change for me so of course I'm
gonna put things in my diet that I know
I can have forever rather than just have
things in my diet that I know I'm going
to only stick to for a short amount of
time get tired of it or whatever and go
off of it so that's why I this time
around I'm really finding things that I
enjoy and not just enjoy but also will
be able to keep in my diet at all times
so that's something to keep an idea on
next thing I got was I did get some
low-fat cottage cheese this is for a
half a cup its calories are a hundred
the sodium is kind of high it's 450
sodium but it's not like I'm going to
have this every single day and honestly
my kids love cottage cheese well the two
babies do Jeremiah does not but my
babies love cottage cheese so for me I
can have that for a breakfast with a few
almonds and that's a great breakfast to
have or I can have you know that with
some fruit cuz I did get some but what I
did was because I did get some fresh
fruit I got some oranges and I did get
some bananas but strawberries I haven't
found any strawberries in my grocery
store yet or even on the fruit stand and
I haven't seen mangos just yet so
anyways while I was at Walmart I went
ahead and I found
it's mixed fruit pineapple strawberry
peaches and mangoes and for one cup it's
only 60 calories so I thought I could
even do like a half cup I don't even
need to do a whole cup but a half cup
and I could just put that in with my
cottage cheese because I can let it kind
of melt off a little bit like dethaw and
I can put that in my cottage cheese and
still I would be under I mean because
like I said for half a cup of cottage
cheese it's a hundred calories and then
if I did a half a cup of the fruit it
would only be 30 calories so 130
calories to even say a cup of cottage
cheese 230 calories that still we're not
talking bad at all
so I did pick up that and I'm really
excited about that sodium is zero on
that so that is a really big plus for me
and also like I said I can add other
things to it as well it will make it
good then let's see I bought stuff to me
another thing too that I personally
enjoy is mmm I am still doing like I'm
making sure I get enough protein in
because that's another thing that
cupcake was telling me about was to make
sure I'm getting my protein and stuff
now she's vegan so she doesn't obviously
eat any of that but she didn't
discourage it either from people that do
eat it so anyways I did get like chicken
which I showed you guys this morning
that I am doing i marinated a whole two
chicken breasts i flayed him out and
then I made like a marinade for him
which just had onion in it and then just
some low-sodium spices and I just stuck
it all in there
that way then throughout the week I can
just cook that and I can cut it up and
put it in salads or I can put them in my
sandwiches or whatever I want to put
them in
I'll have chicken also prepared that I
can have as well so for that right there
it's gonna be a big help because I just
have to grab in and do and some of this
yes it is kind of like
quit put together x' and reason for that
is because right now I am I'm just
learning everything that I need to learn
about dieting and I know I've seen a few
comments where it's like how could you
be 38 you know 38 years old and not know
how to eat a nutritious meal there are
people that honest-to-god have never
been taught how to eat a nutritious meal
the correct way and I'm learning and I
want to learn that's the whole thing is
I'm willing to learn and I'm not gonna
give up just because I don't know
because not only now am I doing this for
me but I'm also having my children eat
the same things so like when I eat my
cottage cheese and fruit my kids are
gonna be eating cottage cheese and fruit
everything I eat my kids are gonna be
eating it too last night I wanted pizza
so bad I don't know what my problem was
but I wanted pizza so bad and of course
all he makes homemade pizza last night
was his night off so I was like you know
what can we make pizza for dinner
tonight and he's like absolutely that's
fine if you know if you want it and I
was like yeah so I sat and I watched him
make it and we were like looking up
different recipes of how to do it like
more healthier and I ended up having so
like it was a piece and then I just cut
it in half so it made it seem like I had
two pieces of pizza but in reality I
only had one slice of pizza and I had a
little bit of a small salad next to it
and I was perfectly content 100% I felt
amazing so I'm still learning and I'm
still changing things but I'm also very
much pushing the fact that I am not
subtracting and withholding myself from
things that I want if I want it I'm
going to have it but I've obviously
going to do it in moderation so I'm not
going to go and have you know five
pieces of pizza when in reality I ate I
ate one one of the slices and I sat
there for a little bit I a little bit on
my salad and then I came back and I was
like you know what the others you know
the other piece sounds good so I had the
other piece and then I finished my solid
and I was sat at the table for a little
bit with the kids because they were
still
eating and I was like you know I'm done
wrapped up the rest of the pizza and
there was enough to feed the babies
today they're for their lunch so I mean
it's just a matter of learning my
portions and doing it in moderation and
being able to still enjoy things if I
want it so anyways with that I did buy
stuff to make sure it boil so I get this
huge bag from Costco and there's a knock
myself out there's a good sized shrimp
and this will give me quite a few well
meals wheels um let's see about nine
shrimp four ounces is a hundred calories
but I mean honestly it's really not that
bad
so there is my shrimp
I bought a thing of the corn on the cob
my babies love corn on the cob Ollie
despises it I did frozen because there's
no way I would ever eat fresh corn
quickly that it would all go bad
so I just went ahead and got this
because I could put this in with my
shrimp I can have this on the side of a
dinner you know so I did do one of these
and for one says oh yeah one mini ear of
the corn on the cob is seventy calories
so that's still not bad I mean honestly
it's really not bad because it's not
like you're eating the whole package or
at least you shouldn't probably be
eating the whole package let's see what
else oh and then I bought some potatoes
so I can put a couple potatoes dice them
up really small and put them as well in
with the shrimp oil or again have them
on the side of my of another mill oil
mill that I make
then I bought one well I bought a couple
of these but I bought this one for me
because I'm in a meal prep with it so
I'm gonna cook it up and then I'm gonna
shred it but I'm not gonna do that right
now I'll do that once this other chicken
that I've made
is done then I will cook this up and
shred it and then also have that for
salads wraps things like that I bought a
couple bags of the students old broccoli
the broccoli that I found that was fresh
looked nasty it was like brown I'm like
ain't nananana now so I went ahead and
decided to go ahead with the steamed
brush broccoli but these ones don't have
anything on them there's no sauces on
them no cheese sauce garlic sauces
nothing like that they are completely
100% plain so that they're just like
having fresh and these are for 1 in a 3
1 and 1/3 cup
1/3 cup is only 30 calories so and there
is about 3 and 1/2 cups in here so I
mean that can also give me a couple
individual dinners I got some chicken
broth these are low sodium 33% less
sodium so I did get a few of these cans
this is calories is only 20 cans or 20
calories for this whole thing I bought
these because I add these to like soups
and things like that when I'm cooking
and so I will add the low sodium and
then I got a few cans but I'm just
showing you guys one can the diced
tomatoes and these are organic half a
cup is 30 calories
these ones are like this dude are not
student the diet yeah diced stewed
tomatoes I blend these a lot of times
when I'm making different types of
tomato based dinners um let's see I
bought a few English cucumbers I'm just
showing you guys one cuz I'm not
bringing out the whole the whole thing
of them but I did buy a couple of those
to make salads and then also to have
them with like just for a snack if I'm
needing something just to get me by for
a little bit
I will have that then I went ahead and
something else oh I did huh I used a
little bit of the bell pepper last night
but I did buy a couple built efforts I
just shown you guys another thing is
that I like to have sandwiches turkey
sandwiches things like that I do enjoy
those that's something that I have a lot
for dinnertime because they're simple
easy and they're just quick when I am in
the middle of doing bath nights and
things like that it's just easy for me
to make a sandwich and just move on with
with my dinner so what I did was at the
store where I shop I went to the deli
and this one is campfire chicken breast
it is real chicken it's not processed
meat and it is cut up fresh and this was
seven dollars and 12 cents for this
whole pack that's not bad
so I can dice that up slice it up put it
in salads put it in sandwiches I can eat
it plain by itself with some roasted
almonds and then I also picked up
because my family does eat it too so I
just picked up two different kind this
one is turkey breast sun-dried tomato
this one was five dollars and 38 cents
again it's the real chicken breast
our turkey breast sorry and then it's
just flavored with a few things of the
sun-dried tomatoes and it's really good
this stuff tastes so good I also picked
up instead of doing like a head of
lettuce I picked up this and

I've never seen where it doesn't have
anyways it's called sweet Jim lettuce so
comes with three three things of it so I
did pick up that I picked up some
cilantro to make some salsa because I
also picked up these and these are
tostadas for two tostadas it's only 150
calories and put those on top of these
and eat it like a tostada and so I like
to make these and then I like to make
fresh salsa so that's another reason why
I got the cilantro here I got some more
almonds they are unsalted almonds so I
enjoyed having those last week so I
bought some more I got some fresh
tomatoes to make with my salsa my
sandwiches ya know it all then last but
not least for this stuff I did get like
tilapia fish as well I got some
hamburger meat oh I did get some turkey
bacon as well but I have it in the back
freezer so I'm just I'm not gonna go get
it but I did get some turkey bacon
because sometimes I can cut that up also
and put it in a salad or whatever but
also I was looking because I I really
wanted to do like instead of doing like
bread from like a regular sandwich bread
I wanted something that I would really
enjoy and so I was looking in the bread
aisle and I found there flat-out 100
calorie per flatbread half of the
calories half the net carb multigrain
seven grams of protein high in fiber I
picked up these and I'm really excited
to be able to make some sandwiches with
it I don't know how many
let's see oh I'm gonna assuming there's
six in here because there are six
servings there are hundreds of calories
for one whole wrap so I can put like my
turkey meat and my lettuce and some
tomato whatever I want now my biggest
thing is I'm gonna really try this week
because I didn't last week anyways not
use any type of dressings like
mayonnaise salad dressings nothing like
that I'm gonna try and make my own salad
dressing and I could even try and figure
out if I can figure making some type of
something to put on my sandwiches
so that way then they're not dry which I
know somebody had mentioned a while back
I don't remember who it was but to try
honey mustard or Dijon mustard I don't
know
I do have both of them in my frigerator
so I was gonna take a look at those or
even just regular mustard that it's a
lot less than mayonnaise so anyways that
is that that is what I did I did not
film my eating today only reason why is
because like I said my phone was my
camera part my picture thing was
completely packed and I needed to sit
and go through all my pictures cuz I had
pictures clear back from when I gave
birth to the babies so with that being
said I need to clean out my memory so I
didn't have room to film anything today
but that's alright I'll start up
tomorrow along with my camera being
clean cleaned out and I have the 256
gigabyte thing you would not think that
I would have ran out but I did so
anyways I hope you guys all had a

this is what I was mentioning about mill
prepping my chicken so there's the
seasonings that I did I food processed
it put it all on that chicken breast I
will leave it in the frigerator through
the week and just cook it up as I need
it and it is
very tasty
